Serving the Nation through the Army
The SPLA presents an opportunity to the youth of the nation by accepting them to serve in various capacities. Website events page list the last events that the SPLA is organizing and participating it. As part of the SPLA committment to reach a broader audience, we will regularly post events that we are organizing or participating in.
The SPLA mounts a professional guard of honour that was inspected by non other than the president of Southern Sudan, His Excellency 1st Lt General Salva Kiir Mayardit and the visiting president of the Republic of Sudan, His Excellency Hassan el Bashir.
This took place in Juba at the site where the founding father of Southern Sudan lays in rest.
The population from all over Juba attended the ceremony in large numbers.
The signing of the CPA is remembered because it comemorates a very important time in the walk to liberation of the people of Southern Sudan.
